Old Orchard Beach is best known for its seven-mile
beach lined with oceanfront motels and seaside homes. In recent years, Bed &
Breakfasts and Country Inns have been making a name for themselves and
earning a reputation as fine places to stay and relax in this popular beach
town. In fact, the Old Orchard Beach area is now home to ten Inns and Bed
& Breakfasts, four of them open year round!Several of these unique Inns and Bed & Breakfasts serve Continental breakfast each morning and are individually decorated with the warmth and character today’s travelers expect from a B&B. Five of the Inns are located directly on the 7-mile beach and most rooms have air conditioning, cable TV and other modern amenities discerning inn guests have come to expect.

Some visit for a shopping getaway. Portland is only 12 miles north and LL Bean just 20 minutes beyond that. The off-season rates are a real bargain and of course a stroll on the beach is relaxing in any season.”
